We were delighted to be able to help the Ahava Community charity, who run the Catalyst Night Shelter in Romford.
Formerly known as Hope4Havering, the charity offers a safe and secure night shelter for the homeless, and also offers counselling and practical help to find new long term accomodation.
You can read more about Ahava's work here
So far the charity has offered a warm bed to over1350 homeless persons, and helped over 700 clients into new accomodation.
The JP8 Charitable trust were able to donate items to be used at the Night Shelter and help set up clients in their new accomodation, and a cash donation towards the shelter's running costs.
A huge thank you also to Arnold Clark, who's donation was used to purchase the items donated.
