JP8 FC 9 Into The Mind FC 1
A fantastic result for JP8 FC, in a game that had some great football, and raised a considerable sum of money for a number of charities.
JP8 lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Rice (captain) leading the front line.
Looking lively from kick off, it wasn't long before JP8 were on the scoresheet, when a cross from Harris found Rice at the back post. JP8 1 ITM 0 (12th minute)
And it wasn't long before Rice netted his second of the night, beating the keeper one on one. JP8 2 ITM 0 (19th minute).
After Simpson was brought down in the box, Rice stepped up to slot home the penalty, and complete his hat trick. JP8 3 ITM 0 (30th minute)
Just three minutes later, guess who beats the last defender and the keeper for his fourth goal of the night JP8 4 ITM 0 (33rd minute)
And the Rice rampage continued, when a counter attack down the right wing by Harris, found Rice in the box again, and he finished in the bottom corner. JP8 5 ITM 0 (42nd minute)
HALF TIME JP8 5 ITM 0
The second half began with a sustained period of pressure from ITM. Pentelow, a spectator for much of the first half, made a fantastic double save before ITM tapped in at the third attempt. JP8 5 ITM 1 (49th minute)
Not to be outdone, Rice then scored his sixth goal of the night JP8 6 ITM 1 (50th minute).
Twenty minutes later, Daley found himself inside the box from right back, beating two defenders to score. JP8 7 ITM 1 (70th minute)
Just five minutes later, a shot from Simpson from the edge of the box, led to a mistake by the keeper, and it went in. JP8 8 ITM 1 (75th minute).
And the final goal of the game was netted by Harris JP8 9 ITM 1 (83rd minute).
